Responsibilities
- Translate complex customs and logistics business problems into technical solutions with business partners and product managers.
- Build and launch products rapidly through incremental production releases.
- Design complex integrations with government agencies and external partners.
- Automate customs filing processes and reduce operational manual work.
- Create domain models for freight forwarding, customs, and logistics workflows.
- Deliver supply chain insights through analytics experiences for logistics teams.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, designers, engineers, and global end users.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience writing software and a strong engineering background.
- Ability to write simple, well-tested, maintainable code.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to business partners, product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Bias for action and ability to solve problems independently.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
- Candidates may come from varied technical backgrounds; Flexport is technology-agnostic regarding prior tooling experience.
