Responsibilities
- Design and implement dev, staging, UAT, and production GCP project structures aligned with landing zone best practices.
- Provision and manage GCP projects, billing accounts, IAM hierarchies, folder structures, and GKE Standard and Autopilot clusters using Terraform.
- Install, configure, and operate Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Apache Iceberg, Apache Polaris, Trino, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, and Jaeger on GKE.
- Design and operate GCP VPC firewall rules and ingress and egress policies by environment, service, and tier.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for application, data, and infrastructure deployments.
- Create reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries and manage promotion from development through production with approval gates.
Requirements
- Experience designing and operating GCP platforms, including GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Armor, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, and VPC Service Controls.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GKE Standard and Autopilot, Helm, and Operators.
- Knowledge of NGINX Ingress, Kong, Python, Shell, YAML, PostgreSQL, Redis, Firebolt, FalkorDB, and GCS.
- Experience using GitHub, Terraform, and Ansible.
