Responsibilities
- Develop production-quality web applications and backend services for Genesys Cloud Workforce Management.
- Build responsive single-page web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript technologies.
- Implement scalable and reliable cloud functionality using AWS services.
- Deliver product enhancements and bug fixes while contributing unit tests and automation.
- Participate in peer reviews, agile development practices, technical problem solving, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Use modern engineering tools and practices to improve code quality, development efficiency, and production readiness.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have knowledge of developing responsive single-page web applications using modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
- Be familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable web technologies.
- Have knowledge of AWS technologies or fundamental cloud computing concepts.
- Understand software development fundamentals including testing, debugging, or version control.
- Be able to communicate and collaborate effectively and have an interest in learning within an agile software development environment.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to HTML5, CSS3, LESS, TypeScript, Knockout, Vue.js, Mocha, Chai, Webpack, Java, Clojure, AWS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
