Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain new or improved solutions for production services.
- Lead tactical and strategic infrastructure and product initiatives.
- Architect, design, build, and manage complex computing systems.
- Communicate nonfunctional requirements such as security and scalability.
- Act as a technical and agile lead for cross-team projects.
- Mentor others in technology evaluations and implementations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and managing complex computing systems.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sr Staff Software Engineer or Lead Engineer.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer architecture and *NIX operating systems.
- Ability to develop production-grade distributed services in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others in technology evaluations.
