Responsibilities
- Develop reliable embedded firmware for next-generation Bluetooth accessory devices.
- Bring up sensors and processors from specification through production.
- Define system communication methods and power-management behavior.
- Debug and resolve complex low-level system issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, algorithms, quality engineering, and product design teams.
- Optimize product performance, reliability, and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- 0 to 3 years of industry experience.
- Experience with C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware development.
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols including UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience with standard software engineering processes for reliable, maintainable firmware.
- Preferred: experience with wireless protocols, especially Bluetooth, 32-bit microcontrollers, and board bring-up/debug.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with embedded compilers, linkers, and low-level startup routines.
- Preferred: experience with firmware architecture, JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and low-level system troubleshooting.
- Preferred: development experience on Unix, Linux, or macOS platforms.
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in multifunctional teams.
