Responsibilities
- Refine, improve, and implement features and capabilities for Simvia’s platform.
- Collaborate with team members to shape and guide projects at every level.
- Contribute to a development culture of continuous improvement and learning by identifying and implementing improvements.
- Act as a reliable sparring partner to the rest of the engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
- At least 3 years of experience with Python.
- Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Python testing frameworks such as Pytest.
- Preferred: experience with Django or similar frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
- Preferred: experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
- Preferred: experience working in agile teams using processes such as Scrum.
- Preferred: modern frontend development experience, preferably React.
