Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded C/C++ software for multi-core processors and FPGA-integrated systems targeting ARM Cortex and RISC-V architectures.
- Configure Linux systems, including kernel and bootloader modifications with U-Boot and GRUB, for customer flight applications.
- Develop networking and cryptographic functionality and interface with SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, SpaceWire, and Ethernet buses and protocols.
- Create real-time system monitoring and power-management software for satellite avionics and payload data-processing systems.
- Translate customer and system-level requirements into software solutions and participate in design, documentation, integration, validation, and testing.
- Collaborate with hardware and FPGA engineers to integrate, debug, and deliver rugged, reliable, low-SWaP aerospace products.
- Track features, bugs, and build processes using version control and release-management tools.
- Present technical designs, progress, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing embedded software in C/C++ for Linux and/or RTOS-based systems.
- Deep knowledge of embedded platforms, multi-core processors, and interfacing standards such as SPI, I2C, UART, and PCIe.
- Experience configuring U-Boot or GRUB bootloaders and customizing Linux kernels.
- Proficiency with IP, TLS, and IPsec networking protocols and AES, RSA, ECDSA, and ECDH cryptographic systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, version control, task tracking, and modern software development workflows.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- Experience with OpenCL, CUDA, or other parallel-processing frameworks is preferred.
- Prior aerospace or defense systems experience and knowledge of COMSEC requirements are highly desirable.
