Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, optimized, and secure software solutions.
- Lead the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support reliable digital solution delivery.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through delivery and define solution strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to align requirements and business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and unit testing practices.
- Define technical direction, lead collaborative assignments, mentor and coach less experienced specialists, and potentially manage team responsibilities.
- Plan resources, budgets, policies, project milestones, and continuous improvements.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
- Advise functional leadership teams and senior management on cross-functional impacts, alignment, and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Experience overseeing the full software development lifecycle from design through delivery.
- Experience with software design, programming languages, and software architecture.
- Strong solution-definition and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet project milestones and goals within budgets.
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Knowledge of microservices and UI/UX.
- Good working knowledge and hands-on experience with workflow applications and business rules engines.
- Experience with messaging solutions such as Kafka and Oracle or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of automated deployment processes and the banking domain.
