Responsibilities
- Lead cloud-native modernization, containerized platforms, distributed event-driven architectures, API lifecycle practices, and enterprise application architecture.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant microservices platforms, secure-by-default frameworks, zero-trust integrations, and CI/CD automation patterns.
- Develop complex applications, batch services, REST APIs, web applications, components, and subsystems across multiple platforms.
- Define coding standards, performance engineering guidelines, operational excellence patterns, and development policies.
- Participate in architecture design teams and provide technical strategy, estimates, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
- Review and validate test plans, recommend development and testing tools, and ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Plan and coordinate complex project schedules, assignments, release activities, and full project life cycles across multiple projects.
- Prepare release and installation plans and deploy software to production using UDeploy.
- Design, develop, implement, and audit website privacy solutions to meet legal and compliance requirements.
- Act as a liaison with business units, advise senior management, mentor junior team members, and resolve technology issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing batch services, REST APIs, web application frameworks, and enterprise-level cloud services using Java, J2EE, or Angular.
- Expertise with Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Angular, MyBatis or JPA, Azure cloud services, and Docker-based containerized environments.
- Experience building CI/CD processes with GitHub, Jenkins, UDeploy, or Veracode.
- Experience with project estimation and release activities using JIRA, change management using ServiceNow, and production deployments using UDeploy.
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and auditing privacy solutions using OneTrust, Ensighten, and VaultJS.
- Experience facilitating software development in compliance with coding standards and best practices using GitHub Copilot within Visual Studio Code.
