Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and executive stakeholders on strategic technology decisions, platform direction, and long-term solution viability.
- Define current-state, transition-state, and future-state enterprise architectures across digital, cloud, integration, application, and data ecosystems.
- Own technical designs, architectural decisions, delivery patterns, architecture governance, reusable standards, and solution quality.
- Provide architectural leadership to architects, technical leads, developers, and distributed or outsourced delivery teams.
- Lead estimation, scope definition, risk and dependency assessment, delivery planning, backlog prioritization, and translation of architecture into epics, features, user stories, and technical work items.
- Advise clients on scalability, resiliency, security, maintainability, performance, operational readiness, APIs, and modernization.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, delivery gaps, and escalation needs, and recommend mitigations.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, delivery teams, and internal leadership while mentoring technical staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent senior architecture leadership role.
- At least 10 years of enterprise-scale software development design and implementation experience.
- Deep knowledge in at least two of cloud computing, cloud-native architecture, application development, integration architecture, middleware, data architecture, and enterprise platforms.
- Proven Azure or AWS expertise; proficiency in both is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns including Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, N-Tier Architecture, API-first design, and composable architecture.
- Competency in enterprise architecture, middleware, integration, data flow, cloud, and system context diagramming.
- Experience auditing, assessing, and documenting existing architectures, ecosystems, technical debt, risks, and modernization opportunities.
- Experience with API design, governance, authentication, authorization, versioning, lifecycle management, and preferably OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Proficiency with SQL, Service Bus or Message Queue, Caching, ESB, ETL, observability, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented and software design principles, architecture quality attributes, and technical tradeoffs.
- Understanding of AI tools, models, and software development workflows and their use in architecture and engineering delivery.
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Preferred experience includes consulting, professional services, client-facing technology leadership, open-source projects, public repositories, architecture accelerators, reusable frameworks, or internal engineering standards.
- A work sample is required.
