Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly available, low-latency backend cloud services for connected products and customer-facing applications.
- Design, build, and integrate scalable APIs and software components using strong engineering practices.
- Implement microservices, messaging patterns, event-driven architectures, identity management, and authorization frameworks.
- Drive technical innovation and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions for smart home and IoT services.
- Provide technical guidance, L3 production support, and issue resolution to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, customer operations, and globally distributed colleagues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and use advanced AI tools to support software development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining production-grade cloud services.
- Expertise in C#/.NET and .NET Core, object-oriented design principles, and .NET internals.
- Experience implementing APIs, microservices, messaging patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational cloud databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos, and DynamoDB.
- Understanding of identity management and authorization frameworks, including Auth0, OAuth2, and Azure AD.
- Ability and willingness to provide L3 support in a production environment.
- Preferred experience with active-active multi-region Azure architectures, Azure services, IoT solutions, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Crucible, and SonarQube.
- Experience with Scaled Agile/SCRUM practices and the ability to communicate, collaborate, solve problems, and work independently across distributed teams.
