Base Salary
$55k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of software solutions for complex business needs.
- Design and develop rich, responsive, scalable user interfaces using Angular.
- Own front-end architecture decisions covering component design, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and prepare required technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Lead projects and mentor onshore and offshore developers.
- Monitor, maintain, and support systems and software to promote stability and compliance.
- Create monitoring dashboards and perform performance tuning, JVM profiling, and capacity planning.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Java, microservices, OpenShift or cloud services, Spring Boot, WebSphere, Apache, and Apigee.
- Experience with Angular or other UI development; Angular/UI knowledge is identified as a plus.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, uDeploy, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience creating monitoring dashboards with Dynatrace, Humio, or Splunk.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with performance tuning, JVM profiling, and capacity planning.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring developers, with strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; comparable education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred qualifications include application development, J2EE architecture, Java Enterprise Edition, UX design, application integration, release management, and technical troubleshooting.
