Responsibilities
- Design multi-tenant Snowflake account structures with environment segmentation, role-based access controls, cost controls, and reporting.
- Develop secure, scalable integration patterns and data pipelines across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise platforms.
- Build and operationalize a Snowflake-based intelligence layer supporting analytics, AI/ML, and LLM service integration.
- Monitor platform performance, apply cost-control strategies, and uphold security and governance standards.
- Enable reliable pipelines and APIs connecting enterprise platforms with downstream systems.
- Collaborate across engineering and enterprise platform teams on institutional banking data and analytics challenges.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud and DevOps engineering experience.
- Strong experience with automation, CI/CD, and production-grade platform engineering.
- Experience with data lakes, big data, and secure data integration patterns.
- Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commercial acumen and a practical approach to balancing performance, security, and cost.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Financial services experience and experience leading complex data engineering initiatives are highly regarded.
