Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives and drive technical and architectural decisions for iOS application development.
- Contribute to mobile application development from concept through launch.
- Implement client-side features and server APIs and services supporting mobile functionality.
- Build performant, testable, scalable, and highly readable code using architecture and design best practices.
- Profile applications to optimize performance and resource utilization.
- Lead cross-team technology stack, design, and framework decisions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, designers, product managers, program managers, services teams, and Android engineers.
- Mentor engineers and help grow the potential of others.
- Provide technical feedback on the product and help define product direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of professional experience.
- At least 7 years of iOS experience.
- Strong knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI, with familiarity with Objective-C.
- Team leadership and mentoring skills appropriate for a Principal-level position.
- Experience driving cross-team design and framework decisions.
- Experience delivering quality code on deadlines.
- Experience profiling applications and optimizing performance and resource utilization.
- Ability to collaborate with product management, design, services, engineers, and other teams.
- Experience with Agile development processes and working effectively in a team setting.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Must be authorized to work in Mexico.
