Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop graph-modeling and optimization software for Google’s long-term infrastructure network planning.
- Translate combinatorial optimization and other mathematical formulations into robust, thread-safe production code.
- Architect and develop scalable full-stack applications with Angular and TypeScript frontends and C++, Go, and Python backend services.
- Design and manage data warehousing solutions, optimize database schemas, and build automated ingestion, transformation, and aggregation pipelines.
- Own features through system design, testing, deployment, and monitoring, and promote robust design, comprehensive testing, and structured code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred experience with combinatorial optimization, advanced graph theory, advanced mathematics, cloud capacity planning, full-stack applications, frontend development, backend infrastructure, database design, Angular, TypeScript, reactive programming, Python, Go, C++, and BigQuery.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
