Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and expand scalable backend services and APIs using Golang or Python.
- Develop the centralized consent platform and compliant consent-gathering experiences.
- Build and operate marketing services, automation platforms, campaign tools, ETL jobs, and streaming processing workers.
- Bring projects from idea through production in collaboration with marketing, analytics, and product stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DoorDash teams on services and roadmap alignment.
- Contribute to a culture of ownership, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building software and APIs with modern Golang or Python.
- Experience or familiarity with gRPC, FastAPI, Echo, PostgreSQL, Spark, Kafka, and Redis.
- Understanding of building and operating scalable software services in production, including monitoring, alerting, and deployment.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Kubernetes and AWS is a strong plus.
- Ability to take ownership and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Strong communication, collaboration, product orientation, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of marketing principles and workflows is a plus.
