Responsibilities
- Participate in presales activities, discovery sessions, technical workshops, tenders, and RFI/RFP analysis.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, architecture designs, and implementation strategies.
- Prepare technical proposals, estimations, architecture diagrams, delivery assumptions, and implementation roadmaps.
- Define technology stacks, infrastructure approaches, integrations, security principles, and team composition.
- Present and defend technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.
- Support Sales and Delivery teams during presales and project initiation.
- Lead technical project start-up activities and convert high-level concepts into actionable implementation plans.
- Establish architecture standards, engineering guidelines, and development best practices.
- Guide engineering teams during early delivery, support onboarding and technical interviews, and mentor Senior and Lead Engineers.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive technical decisions while balancing business goals, delivery timelines, and quality expectations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with strong technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on expertise in the Java ecosystem and deep knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed-systems architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of application security, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Experience converting incomplete or ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with presales, discovery phases, solution proposals, or tender processes.
- Strong estimation and solution-design skills with excellent customer-facing communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to independently drive technical initiatives and take ownership.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
