Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement tools, frameworks, and services for instrumenting, collecting, and processing product data at scale.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Own end-to-end development, including design, implementation, automated testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform applications and components for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Build reusable components and libraries while ensuring application performance, quality, speed, and scalability.
- Help users adopt and integrate the developed components.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of professional software engineering experience with strong functional or object-oriented programming skills.
- Expertise in desktop application and component development, including libraries, multithreaded applications, and platform-specific optimization.
- Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, and Python, including 3–8 years working on desktop and component development.
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment workflows, distributed version control, and Git.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as GTest or Java TestNG.
- Familiarity with load, performance, and resiliency testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Preferred experience with VMware, VirtualBox, AWS, big data technologies, product or telemetry data, data architecture, data modeling, distributed data processing, and SQL query optimization.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, organization, collaboration, and independent execution skills.
