Responsibilities
- Design and develop Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions using AL and Power Platform.
- Translate user requirements into functional specifications and technical development in collaboration with functional consultants.
- Update existing solutions for Business Central compliance and extend functionality for industry requirements.
- Develop AI solutions to support RSM and its clients.
- Demonstrate Business Central capabilities and share knowledge with teams and team members.
- Perform quality assurance testing, validation, system configuration, and test data creation.
- Create automated test scripts for new and existing extensions.
- Document new functionality and assist with training functional and technical consultants.
- Support successful Business Central implementations and collaborate with teams of varied backgrounds and experience levels.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- At least 3 years of AL development experience, including familiarity with DevOps, Git, and Docker.
- Deep knowledge of both the functional and technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including recent releases.
- Ability to perform performance tuning on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and understanding differences across versions and predecessors.
- Experience with multiple successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
- Ability to work with clients and team members in person and remotely, learn new business processes quickly, and understand cross-system impacts.
- Knowledge of application analysis, design, development trends, technical development, and business writing.
- Consulting-environment experience is strongly preferred.
- At least two Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV certifications are preferred, with Manufacturing and Finance certifications preferred.
- Complex delivery experience, relevant manufacturing, food and beverage, retail, or life science industry experience, and at least 1 year of Power Platform development experience are preferred.
