Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable automation tools and data collection systems integrating third-party APIs and bespoke data sources.
- Develop and maintain internal platforms, services, and RESTful APIs for intelligence analysis, publication, and distribution.
- Build systems that manage and present structured technical intelligence data.
- Improve interfaces and APIs with service and product owners to integrate intelligence into client-facing services.
- Write performant, maintainable, reusable frontend and backend code, including with AI agents.
- Review peers’ work for user fit and engineering best practices.
- Document technical and non-technical systems and support the global evolution of the platforms.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python in an API design context.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and modern web technologies including HTML and CSS.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to write performant, maintainable, reusable UI components.
- Experience working collaboratively within globally distributed teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- TypeScript, React, and Node.js experience is advantageous.
- Python backend/API frameworks such as Flask or Falcon and relational data modeling experience are desirable.
- Experience owning full-stack applications across frontend, backend, and database models is desirable.
- Experience deploying and operating applications in GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud environments is desirable.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native architectures is desirable.
