Responsibilities
- Understand client business domains and drive Digital Business Transformation opportunities.
- Lead solution architecture across discovery, architecture, estimation, roadmap planning, implementation, and production readiness.
- Define standards for security, scalability, performance, availability, resiliency, observability, maintainability, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Data, AI, and Platform teams on enterprise architecture, engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
- Lead technology consulting engagements, including target architectures, transformation roadmaps, implementation strategies, business cases, effort estimates, and investment planning.
- Own technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and client presentations, including commercial estimates, delivery approaches, staffing models, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Define technology strategy, modernization roadmaps, cloud adoption, integration architecture, and platform evolution.
- Mentor architects and engineering teams through architecture reviews, knowledge sharing, capability development, and continuous improvement.
- Support account growth by identifying follow-on opportunities and building trusted advisor relationships with clients.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms, distributed systems, and cloud-native solutions, including architecture leadership for large transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, API-first architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, cloud-native deployment models, and platform engineering.
- Experience designing observability solutions with Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry, including monitoring, alerting, and operational KPIs.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API management, messaging platforms, middleware, and asynchronous event-driven architectures.
- Experience leading cross-functional and globally distributed teams in matrix organizations and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
- Experience designing composable, MACH-based, headless, Single Page Application, Progressive Web Application, and API-driven digital experiences.
- Extensive experience delivering digital commerce solutions, marketplaces, omnichannel platforms, mobile applications, middleware, CMS, cloud platforms, and integration ecosystems.
- Experience with one or more of Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, HCL Commerce, commercetools, or BigCommerce.
- Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including security, networking, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
- Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
- AI/Generative AI experience and architecture or cloud certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
