Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable server-side applications and microservices.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for web and mobile consumers.
Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Write clean, testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, data, and product teams on integration and architecture.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
Resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and scalability issues.
Maintain API documentation and technical specifications.
Monitor production systems and respond to incidents to support high availability.

2–5 years of professional back-end engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one of Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby, or PHP.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL.
Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth2 or JWT.
Nice-to-have experience with MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, AWS, GCP, Azure, serverless architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and GraphQL.
