Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Python and Ansible.
- Build self-service automation for network provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational tasks.
- Develop integrations with network management, IPAM, ticketing, CMDB, and monitoring platforms.
- Create reusable automation frameworks, APIs, and tooling for enterprise network operations.
- Develop automated testing solutions for network changes and deployments.
- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and maintain Git repositories and branch strategies.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices and automate validation, deployment, and rollback procedures.
- Support containerized and cloud-native automation workflows.
- Collaborate with Network Engineering and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, define roadmaps, and deliver NetDevOps features.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance and develop monitoring, reporting, and health-check capabilities.
- Create documentation, technical standards, support guides, and operational runbooks.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across automation platforms and network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Expert-level Python development experience and strong Ansible automation experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles, including routing and switching and network security.
- Experience with Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, F5, and Infoblox technologies.
- Experience developing REST API integrations and working with JSON, YAML, XML, and data transformation.
- Experience with software development best practices, coding standards, and automated testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with TeamCity, Git, Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, CI/CD pipeline development, and source control management.
- Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in enterprise development and automation environments.
- Understanding of containers and modern development workflows.
- Ability to collaborate proactively, adapt, work flexibly, contribute as a team player, and act reliably.
