Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
- Monitor architecture, optimize code, and identify opportunities to improve mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions in mission-critical applications.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Work with databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services, containers, and messaging queues.],

Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Strong coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with Java, Python, .NET, or comparable technologies.
- Experience developing scalable and robust software using software development methodologies.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, microservices architecture, containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.
- Certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred; certification can also be obtained through Kyndryl.
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices is preferred.
