Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end product features across back-end and front-end systems.
- Build scalable services, APIs, onboarding experiences, and workflow-driven solutions.
- Translate complex operational and business processes into intuitive, scalable product functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define requirements and shape product direction.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Own features throughout the full development lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
- Evaluate technical decisions based on engineering quality, user impact, and business needs.
- Improve product quality, scalability, developer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to workflow automation and customer-facing fintech functionality in a startup environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and solid back-end development expertise.
- Experience designing and delivering production-ready product features end-to-end.
- Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing scalable services and APIs.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of modern software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical solutions, and solve ambiguous problems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
- Product-minded approach and ability to balance technical quality with business and user needs.
- Experience participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Experience with NestJS, Next.js, React, Temporal, or other workflow orchestration platforms is a plus.
- Startup or high-growth product experience and fintech, payment, billing, invoicing, or transaction-focused experience are a plus.
