Base Salary
$185k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and engineering teammates to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
- Design, develop, and own complex software features and components across the full stack.
- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code.
- Shape platform architecture and establish engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to improve the product.
- Mentor engineers and raise team-wide engineering effectiveness.
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams on strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
- Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
- Experience with React, Google Cloud Platform, and BigQuery, including architecting, deploying, and operating scalable services.
- Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Demonstrated staff-level technical leadership through architecture ownership, mentoring, and improving team effectiveness.
- Proven ability to collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Clear, senior individual-contributor impact rather than a path toward engineering management or executive roles.
- Experience at a well-regarded engineering or product-focused organization is a plus.
