Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain system architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps environments that enable continuous delivery.
- Automate build, deployment, testing, packaging, provisioning, administration, and environment configuration processes on AWS and proprietary cloud platforms.
- Support project teams in troubleshooting issues across various environments.
- Maintain and improve branching, code merge, version control, and related software delivery practices.
- Participate in DevOps collaboration practices, shared on-call responsibilities, feature reviews, and postmortems.
- Create applicable technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher specialized in Information Technology.
- Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, processes, and tools, including SCM, build and release, and continuous integration.
- Practical experience with Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Nexus, VMware, web servers, and application servers.
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix systems administration and architecture.
- Experience automating application deployment and environment configuration management.
- Knowledge of database concepts and experience with messaging middleware.
- Mandatory skills include DevOps, AWS, Unix/Linux, Windows, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
- Preferred skills include SVN, Ant, Maven, Sonar, Python, and relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience working across the boundary between development and operations.
- Upper-intermediate English certification and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure.
- DevOps-related certificates or equivalent qualifications.
