Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise ETL, data processing, ingestion, transformation, and cloud migration systems across Azure and AWS.
- Lead migration of on-premises SQL Server and SSIS workloads to Azure Data Factory, including planning, dependency management, pipeline conversion, and QA validation.
- Design and support data models, relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, reporting datasets, retention and archiving processes, and MDM Golden ID solutions.
- Modernize legacy VB6-based systems by converting logic to C# and decommission outdated components.
- Coordinate CRM processing, dealer data ingestion, reference data, customer access databases, pod migrations, CCP cloud transition, and legacy DMS modernization.
- Provide architectural leadership, migration strategies, technical direction, mentoring, code reviews, data model reviews, and cross-functional delivery coordination.
- Maintain cloud security, IAM, encryption, data governance, retention, compliance, monitoring, and production troubleshooting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
- Experience designing, developing, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL relational database solutions.
- Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory for enterprise ETL and cloud data pipelines.
- Experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB, ADO.NET, and Python for application-level data access and backend integration.
- Experience with SSMS, SQL Server Agent, Maintenance Plans, and Azure SQL Managed Instance database administration features.
- Experience with AppDynamics, New Relic, LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Redgate, and SQL Profiler for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SSRS, SSAS, Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting, analytics, and data warehouse solutions.
- Experience with Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Liquibase, Terraform, and Harness for source control, deployments, and environment management.
- Experience designing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases, including structured and semi-structured data.
- Experience with dimensional modeling, relational and NoSQL database workloads, production performance analysis, and incident resolution.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira and Confluence.
