Responsibilities
- Drive transformation and innovation of existing and new SAP products using SAP’s latest technology offerings.
- Design and develop architectures for SAP integrations with ONESOURCE Transactional Compliance Products, including Indirect Tax and Pagero E-Invoice.
- Lead SAP integration development teams and ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, quality, security, and reliability goals.
- Improve team operations and processes, review team members’ work, and maintain coding standards.
- Develop frameworks, standards, and guardrails for responsible AI-assisted coding, testing, and code review.
- Collaborate with international development teams and SAP partners.
- Support go-to-market activities with Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and Solutions Consulting teams.
- Engage directly with customers to support their success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience and at least two years in a lead role.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts including Singleton, abstract classes, inheritance, and polymorphism.
- Strong experience with WSDL, SOAP, XML payloads, proxies, SOAMANAGER, SAP integration middleware, REST, JSON, and OData.
- Expertise in SAP enhancement techniques including User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points, aligned with clean core principles.
- Experience building configurable and scalable solutions according to SAP coding best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex, including validating and securing AI-generated code.
- Fluent English communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Preferred experience with external tax determination or e-invoicing integrations and solutions.
- Preferred functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and FI.
