Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new functionality in Go.
- Build and maintain critical production systems with attention to performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience, and integration.
- Monitor system and application performance after changes are implemented.
- Document completed changes.
- Inspect code and documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Implement automated tests.
- Identify gaps in architecture and development processes and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with the team by identifying good practices and potential improvements during code reviews.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing software in Go.
- Knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in code reviews and provide feedback on practices and improvements.
- Ability to question gaps in architecture and development processes and propose solutions.
- Experience or knowledge of automated testing, code inspection, and documentation practices.
