Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modules that forward alarms and other security events from Reconeyez Cloud to third-party ARC, VMS, and PSIM platforms.
- Develop and improve the alarm-forwarding pipeline for reliable, real-time event delivery.
- Automate integration workflows and design APIs that support scalable third-party connections with minimal custom code.
- Containerize, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integration services across system boundaries.
- Own platform quality through testing, monitoring, error handling, data-integrity controls, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, including moving business logic closer to client devices where appropriate.
- Collaborate with teammates and use agent-driven development tools and practices.
Requirements
- Related technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience, with mid-level scope.
- Experience with Go, Rust, C++, or another compiled language; depth in Go and integration patterns is valued.
- Experience with containerized deployments, event-driven architectures, message or alarm forwarding patterns, and third-party APIs or platforms.
- Awareness of secure development principles and strong attention to error handling, edge cases, and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
- Familiarity with video management systems such as Genetec is preferred.
- Experience with ONVIF, SIA DC-09, SurGard, or similar security and surveillance protocols is preferred.
- Knowledge of NATS, Protobuf, and application- or transport-layer protocols is preferred.
- Experience with embedded or IoT systems, bridge devices, or Java is preferred.
