Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable, and reusable AI systems with engineering teams and business lines.
- Translate business and technical problems into solution designs and contribute hands-on development to implement them.
- Drive AI standards, patterns, reference architectures, governance, and design review practices across the enterprise.
- Lead AI technology proofs of concept and evaluate technologies with vendors and engineering partners.
- Build tools, AI agents, and MCPs to support and automate the architecture practice.
- Research emerging AI technologies and help align solutions with RBC’s AI technology strategy.
Requirements
- Strong ability to combine hands-on AI building with architecture guidance and enterprise advisory.
- Strong grasp of modern AI technologies and frameworks, with the ability to rapidly prototype, evaluate, and deliver solutions.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, challenge assumptions, take ownership, and drive implementable solutions.
- Interest in emerging AI technologies, experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement.
