Responsibilities

Build and maintain Java backend services that power TeamViewer Tia and its platform integrations.
Design scalable and reliable backend systems combining AI capabilities with core business logic.
Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
Develop automated testing and evaluation frameworks to support safe releases and prevent regressions.
Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Contribute prompts, tool definitions, and technical documentation to shared AI assets.
Mentor engineers and promote best practices for AI-assisted software development.

7+ years of software development experience with strong Java expertise and solid engineering fundamentals.
Knowledge of React and Redux using TypeScript.
Experience building scalable, distributed backend systems with clean and maintainable design principles.
Hands-on experience integrating AI or agent-based capabilities into applications and services.
Experience using AI coding tools while maintaining accountability for code quality and security.
Strong automated testing skills and experience preventing regressions in complex systems.
Understanding of common AI system challenges and mitigation approaches.
Strong communication skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and fluency in English.
