Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of a scalable Python backend platform.
- Build and maintain robust analysis and data-processing pipelines.
- Process and systematically evaluate structured and unstructured web content.
- Integrate and use AI components such as ML models and LLMs in production.
- Develop and maintain performant APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
- Help shape architectures, development standards, and technical decisions beyond the immediate codebase.
- Reduce technical debt and continuously improve existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with product management and the development team.
Requirements
- Completed training or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of experience in Python backend development.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable applications.
- Experience with data-intensive or analytical systems, such as data pipelines.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency in API design and development.
- Experience with different database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Initial experience with AI/ML applications such as NLP or LLMs is preferred.
- Ability to take responsibility for technical decisions beyond personal code.
