Base Salary
$95k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Standardize application deployments, containerization, and release processes across the organization.
- Design and implement consistent, repeatable deployment pipelines and shared CI/CD frameworks.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with ECS or Kubernetes.
- Create tooling and documentation that enable engineering teams to ship reliably and confidently.
- Define best practices and golden paths in collaboration with development, infrastructure, and platform teams.
- Drive adoption of standardized processes and build consensus around shared engineering standards.
- Develop a smooth, self-service deployment experience that improves engineering team productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- At least 6 years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field required.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins; infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and Helm; and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Strong experience driving adoption of standardized processes at scale and collaborating across teams.
- Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or equivalent preferred.
- Pragmatic, communicative, and effective at influencing engineering teams and building consensus.
