Responsibilities
- Design Azure infrastructure and application modernization solutions aligned with customer business and IT needs.
- Lead application migration roadmaps, proofs of concept, MVPs, and production deployments.
- Provide technical enablement, operational support, intake reviews, milestone sizing, and technical scoping across customer projects.
- Debug technical issues, resolve customer blockers, and provide fixes for complex or non-standard engagements.
- Ensure deployed solutions meet performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability standards.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and executive stakeholders while translating business needs into Microsoft solutions.
- Drive customer adoption, consumption growth, partner engagement, and business outcomes.
- Create and improve repeatable intellectual property, frameworks, methodologies, and deployment assets.
- Mentor and upskill others, share technical insights, and influence Microsoft product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
- Educate customers about GitHub Copilot and the Azure AI platform and evaluate pilot opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a related master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of customer-facing experience and 2 years of experience working on technical projects are preferred.
- Experience modernizing enterprise applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of .NET or Java, containers, Kubernetes, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure App Service, AKS, Azure Container Apps, and API Management.
- Customer-facing consulting or solution architecture experience and strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted software development, modernization assessments, and migration factory motions.
- Knowledge of Landing Zones, CAF, the Well-Architected Framework, enterprise-scale transformation, foundational security, foundational AI, and architecture design.
- Experience with Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Azure Functions, Docker, Azure core technologies, identity, security, and monitoring services.
- Ability to create and explain 3-tier, system context, and system interaction architecture diagrams.
- Understanding of Bicep, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager for secure infrastructure-as-code deployment.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-204, or AZ-400, and cloud or security certifications are preferred.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $86,100–$169,800 per year; the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range is USD $113,300–$187,400 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
