Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize high-impact automation and AI opportunities across the business.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions ranging from lightweight automations to sophisticated LLM-based workflows.
- Partner with teams across Alloy to understand pain points and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive AI adoption through enablement sessions, internal tooling, and support for team self-sufficiency.
- Establish best practices, tooling standards, and frameworks for building and evaluating AI solutions.
- Operate the internal AI stack like a product by running experiments, creating feedback loops, and improving productivity.
- Measure the impact of shipped solutions and continuously iterate.
- Define the roadmap, build solutions, and track business results with substantial autonomy.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience building with LLMs and AI APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python or a similar language.
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom-built pipelines.
- Business-minded approach focused on ROI and measurable impact.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and driving adoption.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping.
- Experience in operations, revenue operations, or business systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with data tooling such as SQL and dbt is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a plus.
