Responsibilities
- Define and drive architecture strategy for cloud-native platforms and digital financial applications.
- Lead modernization of legacy systems into microservices-based and containerized architectures.
- Architect end-to-end solutions across Java backend, React frontend, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
- Design secure, resilient, highly available systems compliant with financial industry standards.
- Establish platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with business, product, security, and engineering teams on scalable financial solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentoring to engineering teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience in FinTech, banking, payments, lending, capital markets, wealth management, or insurance platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of payment gateways, digital banking, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and financial data security.
- Experience with SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, and cloud transformation programs is preferred.
- Cloud and Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
