Base Salary
$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate highly available distributed services and automation for large-scale telemetry workloads.
- Build APIs, tools, and subsystems for telemetry collection, routing, storage, and efficient data access.
- Integrate machine-learning-based anomaly detection and data validation capabilities.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics while participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Collaborate with partner teams on observability solutions, design reviews, engineering standards, and operational practices.
- Develop and share AI-assisted and agentic engineering patterns, including applications to site reliability engineering, support, and administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C#, Java, .NET, Python, or comparable languages, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree plus 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale production services is preferred.
- Experience improving reliability, security, observability, networking, or operational excellence for live services is preferred.
- Experience partnering across teams to deliver infrastructure capabilities with clear ownership and supportability is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security screening requirements.
