Responsibilities
- Own and drive software development across requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and build scalable, resilient, high-performing full-stack applications using Angular and Java.
- Develop Spring Boot backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and MQ-based asynchronous processing.
- Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, SQL queries, batch processing, and file-based data pipelines.
- Apply synchronous and asynchronous programming models to meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Maintain clean, maintainable code through code reviews, configuration management, and refactoring.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build and release processes, environment management, monitoring, and production support.
- Diagnose application issues, improve performance, and support reliability at scale.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Angular and Java 8+ and strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with Oracle DB, SQL optimization, batch processing, and file-based data pipelines.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and MQ-based messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous programming models.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable code and applying code review and configuration management practices.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, SonarQube, and Jira.
- Familiarity with secure software development, observability tooling, and production support processes.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent working skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
