Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of programming experience in C++.
- Three years of experience architecting and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud databases, performance optimization, and benchmarking.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with relational databases, database internals, query processing, and query optimization.
- Preferred: experience building OLTP transaction processing systems or OLAP analytics systems.
- Preferred: experience building data warehousing systems such as Spark or BigQuery.
- Preferred: experience with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000 - $252000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
