Responsibilities
- Evolve the Integrations platform to handle trillions of tuples across various integrations.
- Own the design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and optimization of integration connectors.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to maximize data impact.
- Develop scalable solutions for complex data synchronization challenges.
- Participate in on-call rotations to share workload among the team.
- Contribute creatively to team growth activities and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer on a SaaS product with a large data component.
- Experience with distributed microservice architectures and reliable service design.
- Proficiency in at least one compiled language, preferably Golang.
- Familiarity with messaging systems at scale, such as Kafka or PubSub.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with observability systems for microservices.
- Ability to articulate design plans and document effectively.
- Comfortable with Postgres-flavor databases and relational database concepts.
- Proficient in command-line operations.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical peers.
