Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java-based technologies.
- Build responsive front-end applications using Angular.
- Develop and support event-driven and messaging-based solutions using Kafka.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to solution design, code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code quality, documentation, testing support, analysis, and productivity improvement.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience; 8–10 years of enterprise application design, development, and maintenance experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, and application programming interfaces.
- Good experience with Angular for modern user-interface development.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools for software engineering use cases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker and Kubernetes; DevOps practices; automated testing frameworks; and enterprise-scale distributed applications.
