Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ AI transformation priorities, business objectives, and success measures.
- Design and architect enterprise-grade AI applications and solutions aligned with business and IT needs.
- Lead proofs of concept and MVPs through production deployment while ensuring performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve customer production blockers using subject-matter expertise, best practices, and repeatable intellectual property.
- Build reusable guidance, assets, and deployment IP that accelerate customer outcomes and consumption of Microsoft investments.
- Share customer insights and best practices with Microsoft engineering teams to influence product improvements, roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
- Educate customers and field teams on the Azure AI platform, emerging AI technologies, and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate globally with customers, partners, field teams, and technical communities to accelerate successful AI adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, architecture, practice development, or business applications consulting.
- Expert-level experience in at least one Azure AI area, such as Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, or Copilot.
- Proficiency with Python, C#, R, JavaScript, or similar programming languages for application development and integrating Azure AI with other services.
- Experience building enterprise-grade AI-focused cloud solutions from MVP through production deployment on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchains, with familiarity with MLOps and AI/ML lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, compute systems, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter notebooks, VS Code, generative AI, large language models, foundational models, and responsible AI.
- Ability to communicate business value, establish trusted-advisor relationships, listen insightfully, and influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range is £61,900.00–£105,500.00 per year in the United Kingdom.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
