Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS.
- Own backend development end-to-end from design through production deployment.
- Contribute to React and TypeScript UI development as needed.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java development experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Docker experience owning deployments.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS certification, Jenkins or GitHub Actions experience, financial services experience, and Kafka or messaging queue exposure.
