Base Salary
$170k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute rigorous benchmarks to analyze system behavior.
- Develop and implement low-level optimizations within the Linux kernel.
- Write and maintain high-performance code using Go, C, C++, or Rust.
- Focus on data plane performance to meet high-speed requirements.
- Collaborate with Software Infrastructure, Product, and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Contribute to team documentation and best practices.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Linux system internals and kernel-level programming.
- Expert-level skills in Go, C, and C++ (Rust is a strong asset).
- Proven track record of performance tuning, benchmarking, and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience or exposure to the Artificial Intelligence/Cloud ecosystem.
