Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deploy, maintain, and improve software components for Prime Video customer experiences.
  • Build and scale high-performance mobile applications for live video events.
  • Participate in architecture decisions balancing developer velocity, app performance, and maintainability.
  • Respond to operational issues involving team-owned APIs and workflow systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain mobile application development standards.
  • Deliver reliable, maintainable, high-quality software and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Train teammates on customer needs, software construction, testing, operations, and system context.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing.
  • Strong background in object-oriented design with Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
