Responsibilities
- Own the full on-premise product lifecycle, including investigating issues, implementing changes, building releases, and delivering them to customers.
- Support project stability and security by updating dependencies and implementing new standards and protocols.
- Continuously improve software reliability and automate development processes.
- Support on-premise customers migrating to the cloud-based Celonis Platform.
- Mentor and develop teammates and help define an inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Experience working in geographically distributed environments.
- Ability to address enterprise concerns including security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
- Experience with microservices-based distributed systems and complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
- Highly desired: experience with AI-powered IDEs, code-generation tools, Windows and Linux operating-system management, standard system tools and commands, services and permissions, debugging and profiling tools, and application and system logs.
