Base Salary
$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and document scalable, secure, and performant technical integrations with client systems.
- Develop and maintain API integrations using RESTful APIs, webhooks, data transformations, and mappings.
- Drive development and maintenance of client-side SDKs across Java, Python, Node.js, Go, and other languages.
- Provide technical guidance and support to external developers using the company’s SDKs.
- Design and execute integration test plans covering functionality, security, and performance.
- Create API specifications, integration guides, SDK documentation, troubleshooting guides, and other technical enablement materials.
- Diagnose complex integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for potential use in fintech solutions.
- Collaborate with product development, core engineering, sales, and customer support teams and provide technical leadership.
- Apply AI-native principles, artificial intelligence, and machine learning strategically to improve engineering workflows and product delivery.
- Design experimentation frameworks, including A/B tests and controlled experiments, and use funnel optimization and analytics to guide product decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or integration roles, preferably in fintech.
- Deep understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language such as Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and fintech-relevant security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and encryption standards.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies; automated testing experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
