Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
  • Modernize legacy interfaces and data exchanges through secure, reusable, real-time API services.
  • Develop and manage MuleSoft solutions using Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
  • Create API specifications and data transformations using REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, and DataWeave.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with SAP, databases, cloud services, SaaS platforms, and internal and external systems.
  • Implement API security controls including OAuth 2.0, JWT, PKI, client authentication, and role-based access control.
  • Design scalable, highly available solutions supporting load balancing, resiliency, and enterprise performance.
  • Support CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Maven, and Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, support releases and deployments, and participate in technical reviews and Agile ceremonies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers across development teams.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development, application programming, enterprise integration, or API development.
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise software solutions and APIs using MuleSoft or a comparable middleware platform.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems, databases, web services, and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, software design principles, system integration patterns, and API-led connectivity.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments and with Git-based source control.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts and mentor development teams.
  • Relevant technical certification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include MuleSoft certification, SAP or ERP integration, legacy modernization, federal or regulated-environment experience, AWS GovCloud, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Postman, SoapUI, SonarQube, MUnit, RMF, ATO, STIG, PKI, cybersecurity compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery experience.
